I am sorry for the dispensationists and those who have been deceived, and will yet be deceived by the false teachings of the "rapture"...good show, Mr. Darby. Good show.

Sorry folks, but it ain't gonna happen...

Yes, we may lose our heads (or worse)...

...For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.   And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

...and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

It's going to be hard beyond our ability to imagine. We will lose loved ones, we may even lose our own (flesh) lives!
War will ravage the earth, with famine and pestilence. The earth will erupt in flames, volcanos and earthquakes, the likes of which have never been seen. There will be signs in the heavens, the sun and the moon. Smoke and ash. Asteroids and meteorites will pummel the earth and supernatural seeming space weather events will perplex many. Not to mention the revealing of that man of perdition and the mark of the beast...and perhaps even supernatural manifestations as the fallen angels are brought back to life and the pit of hell is opened...you think you know suffering? You have no idea!

BUT!!!

...he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Jesus has promised us that He WILL BE WITH US - ...lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Take heed that no man deceives you and...

God may shelter us, hide us in a secret place? But there will be no rapture. Not until Yahshua HaMashiach comes in the clouds with Power, Great Glory and the Shout of an angel!
And as we know, that comes at the END!

This will be the "falling away"...so many will be so disappointed and disillusioned that they will GIVE UP their faith, salvation and eternal life...this IS the GREAT DECEPTION! And who's behind it? None other than that old serpent, satan the devil…

A little etymological study.

εἰς μέγας θλίψις.

Eis megas thlipsis.

Into. Great. Tribulation.

Into (eis) - Strong's Definition: A primary preposition; to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or (figuratively) purpose (result, etc.); also in adverbial phrases.: - [abundant-] ly, against, among, as, at, [back-] ward, before, by, concerning, + continual, + far more exceeding, for [intent, purpose], fore, + forth, in (among, at unto, -so much that, -to), to the intent that, + of one mind, + never, of, (up-) on, + perish, + set at one again, (so) that, therefore (-unto), throughout, till, to (be, the end, -ward), (here-) until (-to),. .. ward, [where-] fore, with. Often used in composition with the same general import, but only with verbs (etc.) expressing motion (literally or figuratively.

Great (megas) - Strong's Definition: Including the prolonged forms, femine μεγάλη megalē, plural μέγάλοι megaloi, etc.; compare also G3176, G3187], big (literally or figuratively, in a very wide application): - (+ fear) exceedingly, great (-est), high, large, loud, mighty, + (be) sore (afraid), strong, X to years.

Tribulation (thlipsis) - Strong's Definition: From G2346; pressure (literally or figuratively): - afflicted, (-tion), anguish, burdened, persecution, tribulation, trouble.
We won't be "raptured" that much is plain. So, *through* tribulation, we must go. To be tested, and tried as by fire.

After which (the) dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
Isaiah 26:19 KJV

It's clear, as Jesus says unto you...

Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Matthew 26:64 KJV

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 

THEN

we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Jesus WILL come for His Bride.
But there's a few points of business that we need to attend to first. 😉
Jesus WILL come, as He has PROMISED, but ONLY at the END of the Great Tribulation. Which He will cut short lest...No flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

This illustrates a bloody, worldwide, almost complete and utter destruction. Unimaginable.  Could we begin to comprehend the scope and MAGNITUDE of this happening? Truly friends, time is so short. War is coming. And also a great shaking...like a certain fig tree! Your next breath COULD be your LAST!
Are you ready? Right now? Are you saved? For we know that He will come as a thief in the night.  Many are called, but few are chosen. This has been a sobering study for me. I hope and pray that this blesses someone…
