The 40 day warning of/and for repentance and the 33 days of purification.

(*note: I'm not date setting. I don't expect anything to happen as written here, but what God has written in His Word, I most certainly expect to happen!)

In any case, looking at the Hebrew calendar and the upcoming Feast(s) - (Mo'ed(im) - "Divine Appointment") along with the upcoming celestial and astronomical events and signs (Tav - "mark," or "sign," ת, ×, the cross🕆) make for an interesting read!

There are no coincidences where God is concerned. For He has declared the end from the beginning. And all things are purposed in accordance with His Divine Will.

And it's hard to not get somewhat excited about what may be soon come to pass!

Sure, there's going to be a time of (Jacob's) trouble and Great Tribulation, such as never was since there was a nation. But that also means that Jesus is coming soon! Our blessed Hope - His Return! For the non-believers, not so much...if that's you? Please contact me and we'll get you SAVED! 😉

The Shofar (alarm to wake up/raise up) is blown each morning for the month, preparing for (Joel 2) the Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah - the crowning of the King, when the Heavenly Court is set.

21 August 2017 was the total solar eclipse over the U.S.
1 Elul 5777 was on 22-23 August.

A CALL FOR REPENTANCE?
"Some believe that the "sign of Jonah" was simply Jesus' call for those in His audience to repent—much as Jonah had also preached a call to repentance. Notice: "Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me" (Jonah 1:1–2, KJV).
Later on in the account, we find what Jonah taught: "And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them" (Jonah 3:4–5, KJV).
The inhabitants of Nineveh responded to Jonah's impassioned call to repentance. From the least to the greatest, all turned from their sinful lifestyle. "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not" (Jonah 3:10, KJV).
Yes, both Jonah and Jesus preached about repentance. But was this the sign of which Jesus spoke? Or was there something else?

The Ninevites, though upon the preaching of Jonah they made a show of repentance, yet returning to their former sins were soon after destroyed; so were the Jews within forty years after Christ’s ascension. (That's a pretty clear and stark warning right there!)

But when the heart yields to the influence of the Spirit of God, the conscience will be quickened and the sinner will discern something of the depth and sacredness of God's Holy Law, the foundation of His government in heaven and on earth. Conviction takes hold upon the mind and heart. Now...the 33 days part of the equation.

From Rosh Chodesh Elul - To - Shabbat Shuva, 3 Tishrei 5778 or 23 September 2017 (the "Revelation 12 'sign,'") is 33 days.

*Note: So many people are looking to this 'sign' for the 'rapture,' I fear that this may be what causes the "falling away" spoken of by Timothy (1 Tim 4:1) and Paul (2 Thes 2:3)?...
Remember, the beast is embedded in Revelation 12, so it wouldn't surprise me. Neither should it, you!

Hold on to your faith and cling to Jesus - Love the Lord God with all your heart, all you mind and all your strength!

Back to our investigation.

Tishrei begins 21 Sept 2017. 10 days of repentance.

Shabbat Shuva ("Sabbath [of] Return" שבת שובה) refers to the Shabbat that occurs during the Ten Days of Repentance (<-- again!) between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Only one Shabbat can occur between these dates. This Shabbat is named after the first word of the Haftarah (Hosea 14:2-10) and literally means "Return!" It is perhaps a play on, but not to be confused with, the word Teshuvah (the word for repentance).
Shabbat Shuva begins at sundown on Fri, 22 September 2017.

Then we arrive at September 23 and the constellation alignment. Which apparently has never occurred until now and never will again? I'll have to ask Jesus about that when I get there! 😆
Regardless, for this to occur at this time, and at all, is something we probably should take notice of...

As we read in Revelation 12, the woman gives birth to a man child.

The bible then has proscribed that after the birth of a male child, a specific method of  purification must be followed. The woman being symbolic of Yisra’ĕl, then she would adhere to the Hebrew customs and purification requirements.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.  And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.  And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.

 33 days purification + 7 = 40 days = 30 September 2017/10 Tishrei 5778 = Yom Kippur / יום כפור (Hebrew: יוֹם כִּפּוּר or יום הכיפורים), Also known as Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year for the Jews. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. Yom Kippur completes the annual period known in Judaism as the High Holy Days (or sometimes "the Days of Awe").
Yom Kippur begins at sundown on Fri, 29 September 2017.

So, here we are seeing a 'mirroring' of the 40/33/40 numbers. Are we paying attention?!

The significance of number 40 needs our attention as well - Moses ascends Mt. Sinai for 40 days, Jonah's warning to Nineveh was 40 days (with a total solar eclipse preceding him - as a "sign"), Noah's flood was 40 days, and Jesus in the wilderness for 40 days being tempted by satan.

Including the false prophet and the beast.

I believe that they will be revealed during this coming time...

We need to be on watch, and pray without ceasing.

I also believe that the 3 1/2 years of tribulation will begin on or around the same time...we'll see?!

Possible seige of Jerusalem as well...and maybe (?) the fulfilment of Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 20:7-10?

1-2 Tishrei - Rosh Hashanah - Feast of Trumpets, beginning of the civil new year 5778. Yom Teruah, Day of Shouting/Blasting - Feast of Trumpets.
Days of Awe  (Lev 23:23-32)
3 Tishrei - Sept 22-23 -Shabbat Shuva.
9 Tishrei - Sept 29 - Erev Yom Kippur *Teshuvah.
10 Tishrei - Sept 30 - Yom Kippur - Holiest day (Day of Atonement) *repentance. On Yom Kippur - we (Christians) focus on Christ's sacrifice and atonement for sins. It is a time to give thanks and praise. To humble oneself and seek repentance.
15-20 Tishrei - 5-11 Oct - Hoshanot, Sukkot - Feast of Tabernacles - Harvest - (Psalm 118, Nehemiah 8:13-18, Zechariah 14:16-19, Leviticus 23:34-44)

Kislev 27 (15 Dec 2017) The Great Flood rains ceased and Hanukkah (Also known as the Festival of Lights and the Feast of Dedication) is celebrated over the week - commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt.

Lots of dots connecting. Kind of like how we visualise the constellations! I think by now, the Holy Spirit has given us a pretty clear picture of what is soon to come?

Let us be sober, and steadfast in our faith in Christ.

And also with an intense, Holy Spirit burning, that by this word, there may yet be someone who will come unto Christ through this?

The "sign of Jonas" as outlined in the book of Matthew, is to do with Jesus death, burial and resurrection. Three days and three nights...a different story for a different time. The message of repentance still stands, but it is a bit of a stretch to make the connection of the solar eclipe and the 40 days of repentance. The days of repentance are spoken of in the bible, but the eclipse is not...

But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:   For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.   The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
